Garlic Air Fried Asparagus
Air Fried Asparagus with Garlic Parmesan

When shopping for asparagus there are two kinds I prefer the thick ones over the thinner stalks. Look for tight compact tips, make sure the bottom of the asparagus is fresh and moist.
How to wash the asparagus
First, take a bundle of asparagus and clean it under water. Pat it dry and place them on a cutting board. This is the secret: grab the ends of one of the asparagus between your thumb and forefinger and bend it until it breaks. The break is where there is less moisture so it breaks off easily leaving you the good part of the asparagus.
Air Fried Garlic Asparagus

cook time: 8 minutes
total time:10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 bundle asparagus
1 teaspoon olive oil ( or garlic olive oil)
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
pepper to taste
Instructions:
1.Clean asparagus and pat dry. Break off 1 inch off the bottom to take off the ends.
2.Lay asparagus on a dish and add the olive oil and garlic. Rub the oil and garlic evenly. Sprinkle salt evenly on the asparagus. Season with pepper and add a little of the parmesan cheese on top.
3.Cook at 400 degree, I like to have it preheated a little 1-2 minutes. Cook for 3 minutes then use a tong to shake the asparagus and cook for another 4-7 minutes.
4.Once the asparagus is removed, sprinkle a little more Parmesan cheese to finish it off, serve immediately.
